reinvention tour: last stop!

Our last day on the book tour has such a sweet ending for someone like me. My lovely Wiley editor, Roxane, took reinvention to her daughter's first grade class! All of the children made recycled Tyvek nature notebooks together.Oh how I love that!!

It was a huge success with the children, so keep it in mind as a group activity for people of all sizes! You can read more about it here and see lots of in action photos here. I really enjoyed the color chart that was used show the results of different paint colors applied with my technique for Tyvek. Great idea!

So please stop over there to see the details and to have the last opportunity (on tour) to win a copy of reinvention.

Thanks again for joining me as we toured the web and visited with such lovely friends. I will continue to report here any fresh and exciting reinvention news. Until then- if you missed any stops, it's not too late to go back for some sneak peaks, thoughtful interviews, and a couple of  free projects to boot.

  1. Loved the interview with Pixie! I got all nostalgic for the first "repurposed" demin skirt I made as a teen and wrote about it today on my blog.

I can't wait to dive into your book this summer. And next fall I will be in Pixie's class, then yours! I've been thinking already about the materials for my story scarf ... it may just be my War & Peace! Thank you Maya for always inspiring! xo Lis
