In addition, this year we wrote down things we didn't want to bring into the new year with us... old patterns, attitudes and the like. We took turns reading them and burning them in our fire. It was a wonderful new tradition that felt quite meaningful.
Now we are readying for our third holiday- Christmas. Happy winter celebrating to you!
