cross stitched

Oh yes! On burlap, no less! Taken by my mama today at ABC home. We swapped coasts this week!
Now, that's  a new and amazing twist on coffee sack reinvention! My mom snapped this pic yesterday while on a field trip to NYC. I recognized the graphics in the background instantly, as I have many a sack with this nice, tight weave... Brazil. It was wild for her to be in manhattan on Election Day... And as fate would have it, I'm on the opposite coast. I think it's even more exciting in San Francisco, but we all know I have a bias towards my radical and beloved hometown. Umm, yeah... Did you catch that? I'm on a magical mystery tour back home for a few days. More will be revealed soon.
