make.simple

Summer vacation is in full swing for my children. Friends, swimming, reading, relaxing, and of course- making stuff! These paper tubes became holders this morning. Flatten one side and stitch shut with a sewing machine or just use a stapler.
I made one for the fridge to hold my daughter's pencils... they never remain on her desk and she's always searching for one. A strong magnet keeps it in place at eye level.
She and a friend decorated their own with fun tape. Now I'm stitching up several more to keep as blank canvases for tomorrow when little hands are looking for something new to do.
Simple supplies. Easy making. Tried and true.
 Summer crafting has begun!
