One of my all-time favorite songs! I taught it to every class of students I have taught (kinder through 3rd grade!) and always get teared up singing it with them!

ReplyDeleteMy cousins' family had a family band and this is one of the songs I associate most with them when we were growing up. We even saw Raffi in concert. That was a big day. :-) Thanks for the blast of nostalgia and a really good reminder of what's important.

ReplyDeleteahhh Raffi! We listened to him as kids and now he is all my daughter wants to hear sunup to sundown. Most of my sewing is serenaded by Raffi!
