Loved the interview with Pixie! I got all nostalgic for the first "repurposed" demin skirt I made as a teen and wrote about it today on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to dive into your book this summer. And next fall I will be in Pixie's class, then yours! I've been thinking already about the materials for my story scarf ... it may just be my War & Peace! Thank you Maya for always inspiring! xo Lis
Maya I loved catching up on the blog tour this weekend, as well as finding time to really get into your book. I put a link to the sew, mama, sew reinvention challenge in my new blog as well. i am inspired to make a whole house full of storage bins and tyvek items. Beautiful book. A lot of work from your end and it is all greatly appreciated!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! I'm going to have to try this with my class. Can't wait to get your book and dive into all the fun projects. Congrats! I know how wonderful it feels to have your book out in the world.
