gathering

Morning walk in the woods...
gathering sticks for my nest
gathering thoughts about spring
gathering courage to try new things

What will you gather today?

  2. What a lovely way to spend the day - gathering thoughts.

I think I will gather 4 little bodies so that we can gather fun while reading Tom Sawyer.

Today, I gathered dry lavender, that I filled my lavender strawberries with. Reminded me of summer. :)

  7. Maya, where did you get those mittens?! I love them, and that shot is gorgeous too. This morning I find myself gathering memories; of my daughter setting up a tea party for her and her dolls, and of my son, giggling and talking in response to his older sister. Be well.

  9. Beautiful shot-
I find myself pondering the wonders of spring as well. Along with what things will come with spring...
I'm in a season of experimenting-trying-learning...I look forward to seeing what spring brings your way and mine...

  10. I am really loving this!! It's fantastic to read where we're all at. Miss Sews-it-all you made me laugh out loud. Right after I came in from my romantic walk in the woods, I was also gathering dirty laundry... and a sink full of dishes!

Those lovely mittens are one of my mom's garage sale finds in California... they don't need thick felted mitts out there, that's for sure. I've worn them for around 7 years, and they are just about ready for a little mending. If you look closely you can see my thumb peeking out:)

  14. tax forms and cheque books and paying some bills! Not exciting. If I am not doing that (Have to rely on someone else being available as it is for a group I belong to not personal) then I might be gathering with some young mums for coffee and cake.
