This is Dani. She's a dear friend, a
talented singer, my daughter's first Montessori teacher, and a gorgeous soul. She also graces many of the pages of reinvention. This book was her first experience modeling and she rocked it each time... a total natural at letting her sweet glow come forth in a relaxed and authentic way. Since there were frequently small children at the shoots, having an extra child focused person on hand was a blessing. Dani's light and sensitivity dance across the pages and we often found it hard to choose which photo's to use... all were lovely. The above shot, although not in the book, remains one of my favorites. The linen portfolios she's cradling are also favorites. Simple and useful, most definitely. The green one is made from an old linen skirt (yes, mom... it's that one neither one of was wearing!) and the blue was a thrifted find. Today
Craft is featuring them. Click on over for the second stop of the tour. If it's not up yet... it's a comin'!
