picking and printing
Last night we went to the farm so that I could gather armfuls of flowers for my botanical printing class. The first of the fall raspberries were in and it blossomed into a gorgeous and delicious way to spend our last evening together before we all depart. My son is off on his own outdoor adventure this week and the packing for our separate journeys has been monumental. But I'm almost there! My last bit of making happened in a flurry last night and these printed linen sachets are now filled with lavender. I downloaded some perfect inspiration for the road, and now I'm off to fly through the last little details. Can't wait to see some of you soon!

ReplyDeleteOur Lavendar is hanging upside down in the garage...drying ever so slowly...I might be tempted to hurry it along in the oven once I've finished drying out our other herbs...apparently (according to two of my eldest children) we are making horse shaped sachets this year!!!??
