who wouldn't fall in love with this tiny prince? |
Such beautiful captures! I've never used an iPhone but I imagine it's a lot easier to carry around than even a point-and-shoot, and the dreamy quality of these Instagram photos is so perfect for summer. I'm already in love with this series.
ReplyDeleteLovely snap shots to reminice about later on. I love the little frog - he/she's so cute!
ReplyDeletethey are beautiful- sommer collected in a few pics!
ReplyDeletei love the vintage look, sweet pics.. oh that little frog is just precious, makes me want to go and paint some wee frogs!!
ReplyDeleteLoving the way your photos turned out. Magical.
ReplyDeleteYou know you could have just captured MY childhood!!!
ReplyDeleteOur summers were all about foraging for wild berries (so you didn't have to stop playing to go ALL the way home for lunch!), badminton (until dark), swimming (backyard pool, ocean, lake) and exploring everything in nature!
Thanks Maya for the flashback!

i think i asked before.. but how do you send instagram pics to your blog? I googled it but didnt find any info. I have instagram but havent worked out how to get them on my computer! lovely lovely pics!
ReplyDeletehow I load instagram pics onto my blog:
ReplyDelete1: enable flickr
2. share post to flickr
3. copy html from flickr photo and post in blogger (or just copy and paste the way you usually do)
Those instagrams make everything look like a 1970s childhood memory dont they? All my childhood memories look like this in my head. Or maybe I've memorised my mother's photo albums....
ReplyDeleteI just wish, that we could live, or even spend a summer in a place like this. It's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's kind of "the american dream", as we foreigners call it...!:)
Have a lovely, lovely time!:)
And the frog... :):) :)
So lovely and nostalgic. And that little frog is so cute I would *almost* consider kissing him (if I didn't already have a prince)!
ReplyDeleteOoh, love that pic of the badminton game! What a beautiful garden setting to play it in. Here in Australia it's winter of course, so all the more fun to visit here and remember long summer days like these...sweetness! x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I think I am really going to enjoy your summer postcards series, Maya.
