sponsor spotlight: Rhythm of the Home

Please welcome our newest sponsor for the month of December, Rhythm of the Home. If you don't already know about this magazine, I am delighted to introduce you to it just in time for the release of the brand new winter issue.
"Rhythm of the Home is a quarterly online magazine. Our focus is to unite a readership which is interested in Waldorf or Montessori education, or simply living intentionally and hoping to incorporate a rhythm and reverence for the natural world in the lives of our children. Each edition will publish seasonally, with articles and projects dedicated to incorporating the upcoming season into the family’s rhythm. The magazine features three categories: warmth, celebration, and play."

I've been enjoying ROTH since it's inception and was honored to contribute to last summer's issue. It's truly a special spot within the blogosphere... filled with beautiful and simple ideas that honor the magic of childhood and support thoughtful parenting. There are projects, articles, recipes and more. I've bookmarked the sourdough bread...

And would love to make these woodland fairies with my daughter as soon as snow melts enough to gather materials.
I'm sure you'll enjoy ROTH's feeling of  peace and calm, as well as the many ideas that make this such a rich magazine. Thanks Rhythm of the Home! I'm so glad you're here!

~ROTH also has a wonderful blog to create a sense of community throughout the year. Pin It

  1. What a wonderful magazine. I'm looking forward to checking it out more. Those photos are lovely.

I encourage you to make a sourdough starter! It's so worth the little bit of effort it takes. Plus it's fun, and the sense of accomplishment from baking your own bread is fantastic!

  2. The linky didn't work for me and I'm in major suspense... I just know I'm going to absolutely LOVE it (and that it is also going to send me a bit mad with 'want' as I try very hard to do all the stuff but fail miserably!!!) x

  3. I like the idea of this magazine. It is so hard to find sensible parenting advice don't you think? Will definitely check it out so thanks for the recommendation :)

  6. Maya, you've just made my day and you probably didn't even know it ;)
You have featured my gingerbread ornaments as the first photo for ROTH.
Thank you so much - that is the sweetest thing.
I would like this tutorial, I made to cutter shapes from a recycled aluminum pan and they're made from all natural ingredients and decorated with seeds and spices. (I think it's all just your style ;D )

I've enjoyed reading your blog for over a year now and this was especially sweet...
