Hello new week! We're deep into August, and I'm feeling recharged after a wonderful visit from our dearest friends. A weekend with people you love (but don't see enough) leaves such an afterglow... a lingering sweetness. I awoke to an emptier and quieter house, but one filled with dozens and dozens of ripening fruit. We had all picked peaches together... pecks and pecks of peaches! I'll be baking and preserving them all week!
This simple "ribbon" skirt is just another variation of the aptly named Reinvention Skirt, that's finally ready. The final tester got back to me last night, and it has been deemed quite peachy! I'll be adding the finishing touches of illustrations and photographs tonight after the kids are tucked in. I've even decided to include my favorite summer recipe that I baked this weekend. Yes, it will be chock full of inspiration and deliciousness, just like our weekend. Hope you had a great one, too!
