berry breakfasts

Early July marks the beginning of berry breakfasts. The wild black raspberries have ripened and we all run out to pick handfuls first thing each morning. We usually eat straight off the bush, but this year I have my special berry bowl from Bridgman Pottery. Melissa and I have been virtually hanging out since my first days of blogging, but I hadn't managed to snag a bowl until now... yay! They do fly out of her shop during the summer, but if you're patient you might be able to catch one too! Off to pick more! mmm... Pin It

I wanted to let you know I received the pincushion in Tuesday's post!

We're back from vacation, so hopefully I will be able to get to my sewing table to work on some buckets soon!

    Thank you again,

  4. Good eats in a beautiful bowl! We just walked home from downtown and sampled all of the mulberry trees along the way. I love this time of year berry much (sorry, couldn't resist).

  6. We have blues in the front and will have blacks in the backyard soon...LOVE this time of year. Wish it lasted longer. But if it didn't, perhaps I wouldn't love it as much. I guess I'll never know.
