some things take time...

I finally have some pictures to share of what I'm sending out to my three give-away winners from last month. It took so long because three custom orders mixed in with my regular projects and daily adventures just didn't want to fly out of my fingers. Some things have been done for weeks, but I wanted everyone's gift to be completed before I took my trip to the post office. Winning friends: thanks for your patience...I enjoyed thinking of each of you as a made your presents.

Mrs. French will receive her tote with a tree. I made it with recycled heavy weight unbleached cotton and lined it with a rough-weave natural cotton. It might be called rough, but it reminds me of raw silk. I put a pocket inside, for keys or a grocery list. I couldn't resist whipping up a tiny tote for her little B...since mama had the tree, he needed the acorn. It's just the right size for tucking in a toy or a snack to carry all by himself on a little outing.

Enhabiten will recieve her floral stencil . White on linen framed in an embroidery hoop. I have a a few tiny stenciled linen scraps that I didn't photograph (but that I think she will appreciate)... I will tuck them into her box.

And for Red Repunzel... shipping all the way to Ireland: her matryoshka tea towel on linen and a stone doll you might recognize from a previous photo shoot.

Thanks to everyone who participated. I had a great time with this give-away and learned that I will make something FIRST for my next give-away. Pin It
