orange

I couldn't go another moment without telling you about our new shoes. Of course, they're not ours... they're hers, but I'm wanting them in my size sooo badly! As it is, my daughter got them just in the nick of time. She's in the very last size that they carry... so glad we made it. These soft as butter boots were created by a sweet little company called LiViE & LuCa, and if you live in the Ithaca area: you can purchase them at Mama Goose... otherwise, online. Last week, I toted in (to the Goose) a bunch of outgrown winter coats and traded for some lovely gently used clothes, the cutest stripy legwarmers from melontree... and those boots. Happy feet!

p.s. yes, those pumpkins have seen better days... my son is taking them off to the woods, where we'll visit them throughout the winter. We love watching them decompose and return back to the earth... like in the book, Pumpkin Circle. If you've got a spot in your yard that you can designate for a pumpkin re-cycle, it's worth watching.

  5. I must agree, those boots are sO adorable! I just love the idea of watching the pumpkin decompose, I'll have to wait until my kids are a little older though.

p.s. I used your newspaper bunting tutorial and made a Halloween bunting. It turned out great. Thanks for sharing! You can come by and see a pic of it if you'd like. =)

  16. I think that my husband likes to designate the front porch as our pumpkin recycle spot, judging by previous years...
