giveaway: Big Dreams. Small wonders.

Hello Monday! It's the first week of a fresh new month and that always makes me feel extra motivated and inspired to start new projects. Plus, April's rhythm can't help but lend itself to spring cleaning, airing out the laundry and dusting away the cobwebs.

Seems like an ideal time to jump start a new life chapter or move through obstacles that have tripped us up before.   And with that thought, I'd love to welcome our newest sponsor Louise, from the blog Dream-Inpsire-Create. She runs an e-course called Big Dreams, Small Wonders and hopes to help with just that... starting something new, attaining our goals, touching our dreams. She has sponsored maya*made  to spread the word and because she thought that some of you might enjoy having support and resources to  find success Doing What You Love to Do. I believe that's just what we all want, don't you? Her 6 week workshop "gives you the tools, techniques and celebration to empower you to go from where you are now, to where you want to be." Sounds wonderful, and there are some great testimonials from her January session and lots of details all on her website right here. This online workshop begins on Monday April 11th and Louise is generously offering a space in the class to one of you! Leave a comment below, between now and Wednesday at 5pm EST. A winner will be randomly selected and announced on Thursday morning. In addition, any one who signs up and mentions that they read it right here will get a a nice discount.  Thanks so much Louise and good luck making your dreams come true!  I'll leave you with Louise's question:
"If you could do anything, without fear, no money needed, what would you choose to do with your life?"

  1. I'd make things! I want to make things, but so much gets in the way (dishes, taking the kids to school, etc.) -- but maybe it's because I let it get in the way?

  10. What a wonderful give-away! I've been involved in creative pursuits all my life and even had my own business for quite awhile, but I feel like my creativity needs to be re-charged.

I love creating new fun clothes for myself and I just love renewing furniture to reuse is.
But I would just love to take that creativeness in me into my studies. I want to do some creative therapy with kids. I still want to make the world a better place....

It's hard to separate fear from the question, because all my answers are "safe." But if I try to imagine fearlessness, I would travel, and collect pieces of the places I went, and create art with them.

  32. "If you could do anything, without fear, no money needed, what would you choose to do with your life?"

Right now, I feel the overwhelming urge to get out and do some service. But I don't know how. I have 2 small kids in tow and I really want my service to include them, so they can learn to love helping and giving to others. I'm meant for more than I have. I'm meant to be more than I am.

  37. ohhh...so fitting for where i am in my life right now, trying to figure this out but fear is a big deterrent (up until now).

i think i'd love to find a way to unleash my creativity making things and balance that with helping others by volunteering.

  38. I would make the leap to start printing my own fabric designs, on organic cottons, to use for the dresses I sell right now.

  39. Wow! What a wonderful giveaway, and maybe just the thing to finally help me get past the fear and lack of confidence that keep my dreams so far out of reach... but that dream is there, the one where I have a space in my neighborhood and community for selling art supplies and handmade goods, where there is a studio above the shop for children's art workshops and a garden in the back. A place where I can finally make things, enjoy the small moments of each day, and give children a space to be creative, messy and brave...

  40. Absolutely perfect timing! So many shifts happening right now, and I'm excited to re-invent my life! I have ideas, and just need the time (two awesome kids and working full time..) and discipline to make a plan and put it into action!

  41. I would like to provide a service/ministry of some sort to poor women in an oppressive nation.

  42. I would love to win this. I have so many ideas, but am struggling to focus and use the time I have wisely.

  43. Well, I'm in right under the wire for this giveaway! I don't feel limited by money at the moment but time. What would I do? Make more things, and make it a business. But I'm home with a 2yo and I'm willing to squeeze MY stuff around her needs for now. (So I will attend a dinner party under the dining room table rather than going to sew.) But when she's older, I want to be ready. I want to have a plan, and I want a career out of making things.

  44. One more try... Blogger ate my comment (is that a sign?). I don't feel limited by money but by time right now. I'm willing to wait--I enjoy my toddler (my third child) too much to steal time, but when she's older, I want to be ready. I want to make enough things that I can make a career out of it, somehow.
