shop update today

Good morning! I will be having a little shop update at around 11am EST. I say around 11 because I'm still sewing (hee hee!)! Buckets and birds are ready... and will arrive promptly... scarves may stagger in a few minutes late. Please come on by...

I will be making more scarves for next week and will let you know when they're ready for their new homes. Hope you have a lovely weekend and get a chance to play! I'll see you on Monday morning... it's a very special day, please don't miss it!

  4. Dear Maya, I want to use stamps on napkins for my brother's wedding. I tried it and it is really cute, but the print doesn't keep perfect after a while, spreading a bit. Do you know how to prevent this or if it is avoidable? Best regards from Portugal, Joana

  5. Thanks everyone! You always make me feel so great!
Joaninha- I love the idea of stamped napkins. I think your ink or paint might be the reason for spreading. Versacraft fabric stamp pads have been great and textile paint rolled over the stamp with a brayer should work well, also. Good luck with your wonderful gift for your brother!

  10. never posted on anyone's blog before. a friend sent me a link to your blog b/c she knew i would love it all. you may already do this, but have you thought about stamping on standard sizes for framing (5x7, 8x10). your birds are really works of art and i would buy them to hang in my home. I'm a huge bird lover. Ever seen a scissortail fly-catcher? my favorite bird, if i could choose one and i bet a fun challenge to carve:) -Sarah
